Neeraj Borle is a vice president of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, responsible for due diligence and financial modeling of prospective and active Flash Capital investments. Prior to joining Flash Capital, Neeraj was an investment banking associate in the Leveraged Finance Group at BMO Capital Markets, where he helped corporate and financial sponsor clients raise debt capital in the leveraged loan and high yield bond markets.
Prior to graduate school, Neeraj was a senior research analyst at the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA), where he produced macroeconomic research on private capital flows into emerging economies.
He received a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law and an M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Eric Citron is a managing director of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, with responsibility for managing and overseeing the firm’s legal research and analysis, including due diligence and investment selection. Eric joined Flash Capital from the well-known Supreme Court and Appellate litigation boutique Goldstein & Russell, P.C., and is an accomplished appellate litigator, having argued cases in the Supreme Court and throughout the federal and state courts of appeals. He also teaches Supreme Court and appellate litigation at Harvard Law School. Eric’s appellate practice focused on representing plaintiffs in complex antitrust, competition, and consumer protection matters, but also included a variety of other issues. Before joining Goldstein & Russell, Eric clerked for Supreme Court Justices Elena Kagan and Sandra Day O’Connor, D.C. Circuit Judge David Tatel, and D.C. District Court Judge James Robertson. He also served as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and in the Supreme Court and Appellate practice at WilmerHale.
Eric lives in Virginia with his wife Jamie and three children. He graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.
Steven Hawkins is a managing director at Flash Capital, responsible for deal sourcing, investment selection, due diligence, portfolio construction, and negotiation of funding agreements. Steve started his legal career clerking for the Hon. A. Leon Higginbotham on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He then spent nearly a decade litigating in state and federal courts on issues of jury discrimination and racial bias in capital cases, principally as an attorney with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and later as Executive Director of the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty.
Steve has held numerous senior leadership positions within the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors, including Executive Vice President of the NAACP, Executive Director of Amnesty International USA, and Program Executive at the Atlantic Philanthropies.
He is a graduate of Harvard College and NYU School of Law.
Jeff Healy is a managing director of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, responsible for deal sourcing, investment selection, due diligence, portfolio construction, and negotiation of funding agreements.
For more than 20 years, Jeff represented Fortune 50 companies in mass tort and product liability litigation as national and trial counsel, and has tried cases throughout the U.S. Jeff was one of the founding partners of Tucker Ellis LLP, and served as the firm’s mass tort and product liability practice leader as well as chair of the firm’s trial department.
He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
Shareef Ibraheem is a Quantitative Investment Associate at Flash Capital. Previously, Mr. Ibraheem was an Analyst at Hodes Weill & Associates, a leading, global capital advisory firm focused on the real estate and real assets investment and funds management industry. In this position he advised on the private placement of capital across a range of institutional real estate offerings including closed-end funds, separate accounts, and joint ventures. Mr. Ibraheem received a BS in Economics from Dartmouth College.
David Killalea is a managing director of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, responsible for deal sourcing, investment selection, due diligence, portfolio construction, and negotiation of funding agreements.
For over 25 years, David handled a wide variety of complex litigation as a practicing attorney, recovering billions of dollars in damages for his corporate clients. David joined FC at its inception.

Hassan Murphy is a founder and co-managing partner of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP and is responsible for overall corporate management and oversight, deal sourcing, investment selection, portfolio construction, and commercial litigation initiatives. Hassan is also a member of Flash Capital’s Board of Directors, the Board of Human Rights First and the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland School of Law. Formerly, Hassan was a nationally recognized trial lawyer in tort, products, consumer class actions, environmental, civil rights, data breach and complex commercial litigation, leading the firm he managed – Murphy, Falcon & Murphy – to over $2 Billion in verdicts and settlements. Results included the then-largest punitive damages verdict and the largest private groundwater contamination settlement in Maryland history and the largest police shooting settlement in the United States. Hassan has been appointed lead counsel and/or to the plaintiffs’ steering committee in multiple class actions across the country.
As defense counsel to Fortune 500’s in bet-the-company litigation in venues across the country, Hassan worked with C-suite leadership to mitigate risk and significantly reduce payouts. He has been named National Trial Lawyer of the Year by Lawyers for Public Justice and to the Top 100 Black Lawyers in America.

Charline Plessis is a managing director of Flash Capital Investment Partners (UK) LTD, responsible for due diligence, investment selection, and portfolio construction, with a focus on financial due diligence and modeling of prospective and active Flash Capital investments.
Prior to joining Flash Capital, Charline was an investment banker in the Capital Solutions Group at Stifel, where she executed a range of private and public transactions across the credit spectrum through changing market conditions. Over the past several years Charline advised both US and European-based litigation finance platforms and successfully helped raise several hundred million dollars of capital. Charline also has several years of M&A advisory experience.
She holds a MSc in International Finance from Neoma Business School, Paris and a B.A. in European Business from Dublin City University.
Ben Preziosi is a managing director of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, responsible for deal sourcing, investment selection, due diligence, portfolio construction, and negotiation of funding agreements.
For 38 years as a practicing lawyer, Ben was with Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP. For much of that time, he was a member of the firm’s litigation department, dealing with white-collar criminal cases, SEC investigations and enforcement matters, complex civil litigations in federal and state courts throughout the country, and cases arbitrated under the ICC and AAA rules. In more recent times, Ben was a member of the firm’s renowned international arbitration practice group, representing states and state-owned entities in bilateral investment treaty and contract disputes in arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL and ICC rules. Ben also served for many years as the firm’s co-General Counsel.

Michael Rozen is a Founder and co-Managing Partner of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, and is responsible for overall corporate management and oversight, deal sourcing, investment selection, portfolio construction, and commercial litigation initiatives. Michael is also a member of Flash Capital’s Board of Directors, co-Chair of the Board of Human Rights First and member of the Board, New York State Urban Development Corporation. From November 2016 until early 2021 Michael was the Chair of the New York State Joint Commission on Public Ethics.
Prior to forming Flash Capital in 2015, Michael was a partner in the renowned boutique law firm Feinberg Rozen, LLP where he was nationally recognized as a leading strategist and negotiator of complex, multi-party disputes. Among many engagements throughout his lengthy legal career, Michael was Deputy Special Master of the United States government’s 09/11 Victim Compensation Fund of 2001, Deputy Administrator of BP’s Gulf Coast Compensation Fund and outside resolution counsel for Penn State University during the Sandusky sexual assault scandal.

Tom Stamatelos is the chief financial officer of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP. Prior to joining Flash Capital, Tom served as both the chief financial officer and chief operating officer of a multi-billion dollar distressed debt fund. He has also held similar positions in high yield and global macro funds and has deep experience in finance, taxation, and operations.
With an extensive accounting background, Tom started his career in multinational accounting firms. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs.
He holds a B.A. from Queens College in New York.
Matthew Tarantino is the Assistant Controller of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP. Prior to joining the Flash Capital, Matthew was a Senior Audit Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he gained extensive knowledge of private equity funds. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland as well as an MSA from Fairfield University.
Will Zerhouni is a managing director of Flash Capital Investment Partners LP, responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, investment selection, portfolio construction, and negotiation of funding agreements. At the outset of his legal career, Will clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit for Chief Judge Prost. He was also a patent litigator for Covington & Burling in Washington D.C. where he represented life sciences and technology companies. After leaving Covington, Will became an assistant United States attorney in the Southern District of Florida.
As a technology entrepreneur, Will has also successfully run technology companies and startups. After years in tech, Will became a partner at Murphy, Falcon & Murphy and later joined Flash Capital. Will was recognized by the governor of Maryland when he was named to the governor’s Judicial Nominating Commission, and also serves as chairman of the board of the Middle Grades Partnership as well as on other non-profit boards.
